We offer friendly, flexible, town centre facilities for groups, businesses/parties etc and are happy to discuss any needs you might have such as refreshments, music, visual equipment or catering needs.

The Upper Hall with full black out windows is appropriate for Film Shows/Conferences and has a wide pull down wall mounted screen which hirers can use. The hall has Power Point Presentations and Gas central heating throughout the building.

The Wallington Halls are full of character and are perfect for a wide range of functions.

Upper Hall

13m x 5.5m (42ft x 18ft)

The beautiful beamed hall can accommodate approximately 60 seated or 120 standing. The Upper Hall provides a unique, historic setting for a variety of formal or special occasions. Use of kitchen and central heating controlled by Hive is included. Ramps provided for disabled access.

Lower Hall

6m x 5m (20ft x 16ft)

Lovely committee room/hall with large mahogany table (seats 12) and chairs for small meetings, AGMs etc. Can be used in conjunction with outside terrace for sales displays. The hall is suited for small groups of up to 30 people. Use of central heating controlled by Hive is included. Ramps provided for disabled access.

Kitchen & Dining

The upper hall can take up to 65 people seated for a meal on tables, or 80 people seated in rows. Seating and tables are included in the hire but need to be confirmed at the time of booking.

Kitchen facilities for private hire use or for external caterers to bring in prepared food are available. The kitchen is a separate room off to one side of the upper hall and has its own external access door for caterers to use. Use of fridge, cooker, microwave, tea urn, kettle etc. Cutlery and crockery are available.

Disabled Access

The Upper Hall is on the first floor but has direct ground-level access from the rear of the building. Please note: There are steps to negotiate at all entrances to the building, ramps for disabled access are provided in both Upper and Lower halls.

There are separate Ladies and Gents toilets on the ground floor. The nearest disabled toilet is a public convenience in St Margarets car park (about 200m away).
